Zelkova
Tree native to China, Korea, and Japan with a sparse, rounded crown. Deciduous leaves are light green in spring, orange-red and brown in autumn, with an oblong oval shape. It blooms in April-May with green, not very showy flowers, followed by small bean-shaped fruits. It requires clayey, rich, and moist soil and is used in parks and gardens. The variety Z. serrata "Green Vase" grows faster and is widely used for lining avenues.
