Strelitzia reginae BushOrigin: South Africa. Evergreen, perennial plant which has the same development as the previous plant but it is smaller and the colour of the flowers is different. The ovate, glaucous green leaves are 40-50cm long and 15-20cm wide and the stalks are 60cm tall. The floral stalks are taller than the tufts, they start from the foot and end in flowers with orange and yellow, lanceolate sepals and blue petals. Growing requirements: the same as S. nicolai.
