Spiraea japonica 'Anthony Waterer'
Shrub native to China and Japan with an ascending, dense crown. Deciduous dark green leaves with a glaucous underside, oval with serrated edges, 7-10 cm long. Flowers from July to September with red-pink inflorescences. Blooms again in autumn if the flowers are cut as soon as they wither. Tolerates calcareous soil, hardy in terms of soil, planted in rock gardens, mixed hedges, and borders.
