Salix babylonica
Large tree native to Europe, Asia, and North Africa with a conical crown and thin, pendulous branch tips. Deciduous elongated leaves of silvery green color. Flowers gathered in thin ornamental catkins. Grows well along waterways but also thrives in rather dry soils.
