Quercus robur
Tree native to Europe and Asia Minor, with a dome-shaped and expanded crown. Deciduous leaves are four- and five-lobed, dark green in spring, yellow-brown in autumn, 10-15 cm long. Flowers are gathered in hanging racemes, green-yellow. Fruits are borne on long peduncles. It grows better in well-drained, rich, and deep soils, also moist. It is used in parks and avenues.
