Pterocarya fraxinifolia
Tree native to Asia Minor and the Caucasus with a broad crown and ascending branches. Deciduous leaves made up of 10-20 elongated leaflets, tender green in spring and yellow in autumn. Blooms in April-May with hanging racemes 8-15 cm long. Followed by winged fruits. Grows best in moist soils, often used along waterways due to its resistance to temporary flooding.
