Shrub native to Mediterranean areas with a dense and upright crown. Elongated dark green leaves, 3–4 cm long. It blooms in April-May with aromatic white flowers with greenish shades, and bears blue-black fruits. It is resistant to sea air and is used for both free-growing and pruned hedges.
