Melia azedarach
Tree native to India and China with deciduous pinnate leaves composed of bright green, elongated leaflets 3-5 cm long. It blooms in May-June with fragrant star-shaped flowers gathered in lilac-colored clusters 10-20 cm long. It fruits with round yellow fruits that remain on the plant until the following winter. It requires permeable soil and is used alone in gardens or in groups in parks.
