Our Plants
Mahonia eurybracteata 'Soft Caress'
Evergreen shrub belonging to the Berberidaceae family. It has a bushy, rounded habit. It reaches 80-120 cm in height. It has fine foliage that resembles fern leaves. Flowers appear in winter or early spring, with a bright yellow color and are gathered in delicate, fragrant terminal spikes. Dark berries follow. It prefers fertile, well-drained soil but not too dry, so regular watering is necessary. Pruning is done in March, but only in special cases as it is a slow-growing plant. To fertilize the plant, apply slow-release organic fertilizer in autumn, while in spring it is better to use liquid fertilizer.
