Hypericum hookerianum 'Hidcote'
Shrub native to England with a rounded crown. Evergreen or semi-evergreen oval leaves, dark green with blue reflections underneath, 4-6 cm long. From mid-June to mid-September many flowers appear, formed by 5 petals, yellow with an orange throat. It grows in all soils that are not too permeable and not too calcareous, resists urban pollution, and requires severe pruning at the end of winter. It is used in groups for borders and flowerbeds.
