Eriobotrya 'Coppertone' (Rhaphiolepis indica 'Coppertone')
Shrub with a dense and rounded crown. The evergreen leaves are narrow, tough, 8 to 10 cm long, brown when they sprout, then bright green. The aromatic flowers appear at the tips of the branches in April and May, initially light purple, then pink when they open. It grows well in all soils but suffers from stagnant moisture. It is used in hedges, also cultivated in pots, and can be used alone or in groups. Note: the exact name is the one indicated as a synonym (Rhaphiolepis indica 'Coppertone').
