Evergreen shrub with a dense crown that initially develops horizontally. The leaves are bright yellow in the center with irregular green margins. Grows in all garden soils, resists sea exposure, requires pruning that cuts branches with green leaves, and is used in hedges and rock gardens (alone or in groups).
