Diospyros kaki
Fruit tree with scaly trunk, dense and rounded crown, and drooping branches at the ends. The deciduous leaves are oval and large, dark green in spring and dark orange or red in autumn. It blooms in April-May with inconspicuous creamy white flowers. The fruits are yellow or dark orange, round, edible, and ripen in mid-November. It is also used as a decorative and shade tree, requiring fresh, humus-rich, well-drained, and deep soil.
