Calocedrus decurrens BushOrigin: Oregon, California. Conifer with columnar or pyramidal habit, dense, slender and elegant; cracked bark the colour of cinnamon. Bright green leaves which if rubbed give off a strong scent. Numerous, showy flowers in autumn-winter; the male flowers are golden yellow, the female ones are green and develop into rich brown cones. Grows well in all types of soil and withstands pollution.
