Acer rubrum 'October Glory' StandardSelected in the USA in 1961, is one of the larger Acer rubrum with a densely branched crown. Reddish-brown young branches and petioles. Large (up to 10 cm) deep green, coriaceous leaves, with glaucous underside; they remain on branches until late autumn. Lovely bright orange or deep red autumn colours. Not suitable for too compact soil or over-dry climates.
