Native to the Netherlands. Tree with a columnar or rounded shape or a wide and erect shrub. Its leaves are dark red even in summer, five-lobed and up to 15 cm wide. It blooms in spring, before the leaves, with yellow petals and stamens and bright red sepals. Other characteristics are similar to the typical species.
